Meet Our Team

With our headquarters based in New Orleans, LA, we serve students across the United States and world through virtual meeting sessions.

Aubrey Schlanker, Performing Arts

Aubrey Schlanker is a New Orleans native who recently relocated back to the Crescent City with her growing family after attending college and working in New York City.

Most recently Aubrey was the VIP Entertainment Coordinator for the Broadway-powerhouse, The Nederlander Organization. The Nederlander Organization owns and operates nine Broadway venues in New York: the Brooks Atkinson, Gershwin, Lunt-Fontanne, Marquis, Minskoff, Nederlander, Palace, Richard Rodgers, and Neil Simon Theatres. In addition, The Nederlander Organization’s theatrical reach includes multiple stages across the United States and three in London’s West End: the Aldwych, Adelphi and Dominion. Aubrey’s lifelong passion for the theater arts has opened multiple doors (curtains) in life and has provided her many valuable experiences and lessons that help her guide, support and inspire students.

A graduate of The Academy of the Sacred Heart in New Orleans, Aubrey was also co-enrolled at The New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA) for specialization in musical theatre. She has performed in theatres around the Greater New Orleans area including Rivertown Theaters of the Performing Arts, Jefferson Performing Arts Society (JPAS), and Tulane Summer Lyric Theatre. Successes on stage and academic achievement earned Aubrey a scholarship to the prestigious School of Musical Theatre at Oklahoma City University. After a year at OCU, Aubrey transferred to Marymount Manhattan College to be closer to the New York theater district where she continued her studies in performing arts with a focus on musical theatre and the entertainment business.

Professionally, Aubrey worked in casting for stage and film for Daryl Eisenberg Casting and worked as a Member Services Coordinator at The Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC). As an integral team member of The Nederlander Organization for six years, she coordinated VIP experiences for all nine of their NYC theaters and worked alongside senior management/ownership to curate experiences for the entertainment industry’s key players. These shows included blockbuster hits such as Hamilton, Wicked, and The Lion King

Aubrey is eager to work with students and help them navigate the difficult, yet rewarding, performing arts industry – utilizing her various experiences in performance, casting, and producing. She is keen to convey her extensive knowledge of networking in the industry, a skill that allowed Aubrey to accelerate her career.

She is a professional member of: Southern Association for College Admission Counseling (SACAC) and National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC).
